The band about itself:
Heavy Fast Food Trap
Editorial commentary:
They’re not a band, they’re a gang. The King Nugget Gang. No matter where they play, the atmosphere is electric in no time. KNG consists of Gregor Cheesy, Vince, Ulle and Lecker Luke, who are dedicated to consumer criticism. Sometimes serious, sometimes ironic, they effortlessly create catchy hooks that stick in your head. But what exactly is Heavy Fast Food Trap? Well, while they rely on powerful beats, reinforced by Vince on the drums, Gregor and Ulle score points as excellent rappers with a very good flow, and Luke provides the heaviness with his impressive extreme vocals. It’s basically German rap with breakdowns. As already mentioned, the lyrics are about consumer criticism, which is once again made very clear in their latest single, ‘All You Can Eat’. Their live shows are always incredibly captivating, with choruses that encourage the audience to sing along, and songs like Der Nudelsong with TBS or Bier&Bratwurst that make you want to dance. They also come up with visual gimmicks to keep the fun factor high: they hand out pool noodles to the crowd, or an inflatable pizza slice that fans can surf on. Sometimes Ulle hands out coke to the crowd, but Gregor and he always come down to the pit to let the fans sing into the microphones. A King Nugget Gang show is always a pure party, no matter how often you see them, it just never gets boring. You just have to love them.
