The band about itself:
Heavy music from Italy.
Editorial commentary:
Hard riffs, gripping shouts, and a strong melodic influence—combine all of this, and you get Dead Like Juliet, finest melodic hardcore from Italy. With lyrics that deal with social issues, personal struggles, and deep emotions, the band embodies a mixture of hardness and emotion that is unparalleled in the scene. Live, Dead Like Juliet brings exactly the energy to the stage that you would expect from a hardcore show: pits, singalongs, stage dives – all with a closeness to the audience that comes across as completely authentic.
I got to know them through their song Rise Up – an anti-fascist anthem that grabbed me right away and has been an integral part of my playlist ever since. Dead Like Juliet define themselves through powerful breakdowns, atmospheric leads, and that special “in-your-face” presence familiar from international greats, combined with a dose of European DIY energy. If you’re looking for a band that perfectly combines heaviness and emotion, Dead Like Juliet is the one. An absolute must-see live and a band to keep an eye on.
