I had the honor of being enchanted by Eihwar at Wacken Open Air 2025. It was an absolutely captivating performance, characterized by wild dancing and shamanic drumming. The mixture of angelic vocals and deep demonic sounds brought vocal depth to the gripping performance. The result was a combination of Viking folk melodies and electronic sounds. Listening to this music, it was almost as if time stood still for a moment. The sound and drama also reminded me of the gripping soundtracks of adventure video games, extremely impressive and exciting. The unique style of the French duo has become firmly anchored in my memory.
Eihwar is my absolute recommendation to all those who not only hear music, but also feel it. If you are looking for a completely new musical experience, you should definitely keep an eye on this band. Close your eyes and let yourself be captivated by the wild rhythms and melodies.
