Editorial commentary:
I first met the band around Moritz, Paul, Henrik and Simon at a regional underground show in 2019. Even then, I remembered them for their mix of metalcore and electronic elements. Our paths finally crossed again last year at AKK Metal Mania, and in the meantime Renounce Tomorrow had undergone some changes: they introduced Sven as their new bassist and had some new songs in their luggage. All in all, this band from Karlsruhe is a great live act that knows how to get the crowd going. Musically and personally, they are a real enrichment for the scene, and it’s always fun to talk to them.
