The band about itself:

Remaining Echoes is the new kid on the block in the German underground metalcore scene. Their sense for melodic yet heavy riffs and sing-along choruses shapes their overall sound into something unique and special. In 2021 they’ve reinvented themselves and their sound into something more diverse yet heavy without losing their signature hardcore aggression. Upcoming releases will be their next big step into the greater musical territory, so keep your eyes peeled and be there when it happens!

 

Editorial commentary:

As the band writes about itself, this is a massive load of ‘in your face’ metalcore. The band is characterised by melodic yet heavy riffs, aggressive vocals and lyrics that deal with important topics.

Remaining Echoes have been on my radar and playlist for a while now, but that’s no surprise as both the bassist and guitarist were friends of mine before I knew the band. Both live and on record, the band exude a tremendous energy and get even small crowds moving. Be it headbanging, moshing, circling or two-step dancing, the band knows how to get people moving.

Lyrically, Remaining Echoes deal with various topics ranging from social criticism to psychological problems. In terms of sound, there is a mix of old school Parkway Drive mixed with the Black Flame era of Bury Tomorrow, which is definitely convincing.

To summarise, it can be said that the band clearly has potential for great things and hopefully we can expect new stuff soon. The band is definitely worth a listen and a possible live visit and definitely a big recommendation from me!
