Band of the week 37/2024
Origin:Heilbronn
Genre: Symphonic Metalcore
Hier geht’s zur deutschen Version.
The band about itself:
Haunted By Memories is a symphonic metalcore band from Heilbronn, Germany formed in 2019.
Editorial commentary:
The still young band Haunted by Memories manages to give a crashing metalcore sound an epic sound by adding symphonic sounds. This allows them to stand out in this genre, which is further enhanced by the combination of two different voices. Female and male vocals at the same time are rather rare in metalcore, but they work really well here. Nele’s clear vocals and Bene’s shouting, who also uses clean vocals from time to time, complement each other perfectly and are a real trademark. But the rest of the band also create a gripping sound and make Haunted by Memories what they are. Their debut album Chapter One already shows a lot of potential, and the latest single Delusion takes this level a whole lot further. Nele is no longer part of the band, her part on the mic will be taken over by a new singer, who will be officially introduced shortly. So if you like symphonic metalcore, you should definitely keep Haunted by Memories on your radar, because the future certainly holds great things in store.
