The band about itself:
Gjallar – a tribute to Falkenbach…paying homage to the mighty Falkenbach…
…from fans for fans…
…from east germany, since 2023…
Editorial commentary:
Today we have something special for you!
Falkenbach… Hardly any other band (or rather project) is as well known. This is partly because their music is so unique, but also because it has never been performed live!
And this is exactly where Gjallar come in! The lads have made it their mission to bring Falkenbach’s music to the stage as authentically as possible… And they’ve done an excellent job!
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Gjallar twice so far, the first time at the Dark Troll Festival as a (live) premiere. And you have to give them credit, it really sounds like Falkenbach! When you’re standing in front of the stage, you can’t tell the difference!
So if you like Falkenbach’s music as much as I do, then Gjallar is a must-see live alternative for you!
Gjallar – A Tribute to Falkenbach… And what a tribute it is!

Band of the week is our weekly posting about a band we recommend and is posted every Tuesday at 8pm (CEST). These are bands that are just at the beginning of their career and that we think should receive more attention.
