The band about itself:
Flammenmeer is a Viking core band from southern Hesse. Their music is a mixture of metalcore and deathcore with a Viking theme.
What characterizes the four-piece band is their energy on stage and their ability to get the audience moving. With brute breakdowns paired with groovy metal riffs, Flammenmeer always create a great atmosphere and circle pits in front of the stage. Flammenmeer has continuously developed with video & music releases. Last year they released their latest song Angst. More singles and music videos will follow.
Editorial commentary:
I met the band at Metal Up Your Christmas 7, and they were a very positive surprise that night. Lots of energy, fun with what they were doing and a really cool light show and use of fog, which really suits the Viking Core Metal theme. But they also convey the necessary down-to-earth attitude to go down well with the fans. And after the concert they are also very friendly and are happy about everyone who comes to the merch stand to chat with them or buy a piece of merch. I would definitely recommend going to a concert if they are playing near you.
