Band of the week: BÖSE FUCHS

Band of the week 15/2026

Origin: Berlin, Germany
Genre: Couple-Core

Hier geht’s zur deutschen Version.

The band about itself:

BÖSE FUCHS is a fully independent metal couple from Berlin, carving truth from trauma. We’ve walked through fire – betrayal, control, manipulation – and turned it into music. Raw. Uncompromising. But never lyrically shallow.

Editorial commentary:

The Berlin power couple Valeria and Max Nash make up BÖSE FUCHS. The band emerged in 2023 from Böse Fuchs & Sly, who had been active since 2019. However, Valeria – also known as Vally – has been using the stage name Böse Fuchs since 2011.

BÖSE FUCHS see themselves as an independent metal project that deliberately blurs genre boundaries and combines raw heaviness with a dark atmosphere. Their sound – which they themselves describe as Couple-Core – is characterised by heavy guitar riffs, powerful drums and aggressive vocals that alternate between shouts, screams and occasional clean passages. Lyrically, they frequently tackle themes such as inner conflicts, social tensions, anger, alienation and personal experiences of pushing boundaries. The lyrics are direct, at times raw, and deliberately leave room for interpretation.

BÖSE FUCHS are not a traditional band, but a creative core project that produces and designs everything themselves – be it music, merchandise, visuals or tours. Their first EP, Samsara, was released in May 2024, followed by the EP Divina Commedia at the end of 2025. They are quite active, having been on the road with Schattenmann until just a few days ago, supporting them on their Endgegner Tour through twelve cities. They have also warmed up the crowd for bands such as Oomph! and Dymytry. However, BÖSE FUCHS have also completed two headlining tours of their own: the Yes to All Tour in 2024 and The Detourgent Tour in 2025. At the end of 2026, they’ll be fulfilling a dream by hosting their own small metal festival, FUCHSFEST, at the Badehaus Berlin.

A personal touch

I’ve known Vally for ages… Firstly, as part of the audience at various Berlin events, and secondly, as a guitarist for Grausame Töchter (2015–2017), Schlagwetter (2018–2020) and Erdling (2021–2024). So I’m even more delighted to see how her passion is paying off and her success continues to grow. Unfortunately, I haven’t managed to catch BÖSE FUCHS live yet, but I’ve already heard a lot of good things about their energetic and artistically uncompromising performances.

Don’t know BÖSE FUCHS yet? Then I’d like to conclude with their own words: “If you’ve ever been broken and dared rebuild louder and stronger than before… welcome to BÖSE FUCHS!”

See you all at FUCHSFEST 😉
