Editorial commentary:

Classic 80s-style power metal, reimagined for today, that’s how I’d describe the band Induction.
As the opening act for Visions of Atlantis and The Warkings’ Pirates & Kings over Europe-tour, they won me over from the very first song.
The energy and passion they bring to the stage didn’t just thrill me from the very first song. Yet the four guys couldn’t be more different. Hailing from four different countries, each member represents his own unique style.
With frontman Gabriele Gozzi, comparisons to Yannis Papadopoulos of Beast in Black are inevitable, both visually and vocally. Guitarist Tim Hansen, on the other hand, presents himself as a perfectly toned muscle-bound figure with a bare torso, while Justus Sahlmann, in a leather jacket and lion’s mane, embodies the classic ’80s look.
Despite all their differences, together they form a symbiosis of power and energy that is palpable in every one of their songs. With Love Kills, their latest album, they’ve made a powerful statement that’s well worth hearing.

The guys from Induction also bring a healthy dose of expertise to the table. Guitarist Tim Hansen is the son of Kai Hansen, guitarist for Helloween. Anyone who’s had so much music in their blood since birth is sure to continue touring the world’s stages in the future.

I’ll keep following the band and will certainly continue to support them by buying a record or two.
