The band about itself:

This is not only the striking text line of the first track of the debut disc of Sons of Eternity, but also at the same time motto of the melodic / powermetal band from Germany: Fat guitar riffs, precise rhythms and critical lyrics make the stage tremble and ensure flying hair and raised fists!

Sons of Eternity are no strangers: This is where some of the greats of the Franconian rock and metal scene came together in 2020.

The many years of stage experience of all band members can be felt at every minute in the live shows of Sons of Eternity, who know how to engage the audience from the first minute and make it an integral part.

Editorial commentary:

Sons of Eternity are one of the bands that we have known and supported since their beginnings. Back then, I was made aware of the newly formed band through friends and invited them to the heavy and power metal evening I was organising at the b-Hof in Würzburg in 2023. They played their third gig there and wowed the audience as the opener. Further gigs followed in the same year, including the Bavarian Battle Open Air and Umsonst & Draußen in Würzburg, before the debut album End of Silence was released at the end of the year, which brought the band the attention they deserved. After a well-attended release show at Cairo in Würzburg and a performance at Metal Franconia, they were able to accompany German hard rockers Axxis on tour in late 2024 and early 2025, a major milestone for the band.

Although the band hasn’t been on the road for very long, they have mastered their craft. No wonder, as the band consists of really experienced musicians who have already played in many a band. The whole thing works really well both live and on record. Another highlight of their career will follow in December when they accompany J.B.O. on tour.

For fans of heavy metal and power metal with influences from the 90s, the Franconians are definitely worth a recommendation.
