Band of the week: Allure

Band of the week 37/2026

Origin: Karlsruhe, Germany
Genre: Metalcore

Hier geht’s zur deutschen Version.

The band about itself:

ALLURE are Blending crushing breakdowns, soaring choruses, and raw emotion into a sound that is both aggressive and memorable. Formed in November 2024 by a group of young musicians, the band quickly found their identity through a mix of heavy riffs, powerful vocals, and melodic clean singing.

Following the release of their debut single, Constant Dilemma, in January 2025,
ALLURE have steadily built momentum with six additional singles, laying the foundation for their first full-length album, Folia, set for release on August 7.

Lyrically, ALLURE explore themes of trauma, relationships, and social criticism, combining personal experiences with reflections on the world around them. Their music balances crushing heaviness with anthemic melodies, creating a sound that resonates both emotionally and physically.

With their debut album Folia on the horizon, ALLURE are only getting started.

Editorial commentary:

Support your local underground metalcore band!

Is metalcore too pop-oriented for you, too watered-down, and does it all sound the same to you by now?
Then you should definitely check out Allure. The young metalcore band from Karlsruhe has released its debut album, Folia, 1.5 years after forming, and the album release show is taking place in Karlsruhe this month.

And their debut album, Folia, certainly packs a punch. Conceived as a concept album, their debut recounts the personal experiences of the individual band members and weaves them into a cohesive narrative. Each band member symbolizes a distinct flower, each having gone through different experiences and emotions.

Songs like Derealizing, Glass Tongue, Reflections and Dopamine each explore different themes. Allure combines brutal breakdowns and scream parts with melodic passages and clean vocals, successfully blending raw intensity with an emotional side. This creates the tension that makes metalcore shows so intensely special.

The guys from Karlsruhe also embody a classic DIY approach: Folia was produced independently and without a label; they organize everything themselves, and instead of waiting for someone to discover them, they’re taking their career into their own hands. On August 31, 2026, they celebrated their debut at the 40th Warmbronner Open Air and officially kicked off the festival as the first band of the day.

Following their album release show, they have three more concerts lined up this year, though the venues have yet to be announced. So it’s worth keeping an eye on the band – not only to make sure you don’t miss any of their music in the future, but also so you don’t miss the chance to see them live.

So maybe now is exactly the right time to discover your next favorite metalcore band—and when they get bigger, you can claim to have been a fan from the very beginning 😉
